This piece is meant to express Polo/Ralph Lauren as a company who caters to the wealthy. I have named it SOLO for two reasons. One, style in general is a superficial and somewhat selfish thing to be worried about; naming it solo insinuates that self indulgence is important to the company. Also, I was able to make the S into a money sign which seemed to intensify the idea of wealth. I was also trying to point out the idea that Polo is often considered clothing for the wealthy. It is not, like some clothing brands, affordable to all financial groups.
